Plot Juken Sentai Gekiranger

Ten people in China invented a kind of Kenpo martial arts that would later be called the Beast-Fist technique four thousand years ago. In the martial art of Beast-Fist, one might achieve spiritual calm by imitating the traits of animals. But among its designers, discontent increased.

Three held the opinion that they should harness the anguish and hatred that people harbor in order to become more powerful and take on their horrific forms, the Three Fist Demons. The other seven, who insisted that power should come from inside, were compelled to engage in combat with their erstwhile allies. The struggle was ended with a forbidden maneuver that sealed the powers of the Fist Demons at the expense of their own human bodies, turning them into the Fist Sages.

The Fierce Beast-Fist Beast Arts school was developed by devotees of the Fist Sages. Its sport discipline, the Fierce Beast-Fist of justice, boosts the human body with self-produced positive Qi known as Fierce Ki. One of the seven Fist Sages, Grand Master Sha-Fu, teaches it under the guise of a sporting goods company called “SCRTC.”

The Confrontation Beast-Fist Akugata, an evil variation of the Beast-Fist technique, is practiced by devotees of the Three Fist Demons.

In the present, Rio, a former pupil of the Fierce Beast-Fist Academy, is the leader of the Confrontation Beast Fist and has rebuilt the Confrontation Beast Hall in an effort to rule the globe.

He gathers Confrontation Ki, Fierce Ki’s antithesis, to resurrect the Three Fist Demons so that he might learn from their lessons and grow stronger. He also revives other Confrontation Beast-Fist users as kyonshi. Ran Uzaki and Retsu Fukami had been receiving training from the Fist Sage Sha-Fu to combat the new Confrontation Beast Hall.

The Gekiranger squad is assembled along with Jan Kandou, a feral child reared by tigers, in order to stop Rio’s plans for taking over the globe.
